With his exceptional technique and chord work that makes abundant use of original tones, he has produced numerous hit songs. His catchy melody lines stand out even among Casiopea's music, adding an essential element to their appeal. In 1985, he released his solo album, "Minoruland." In 1993, he released "Tickle the Ivory", featuring guests Masayoshi Takanaka, Akira Jimbo, and Tetsuo Sakurai, utilizing synthesizers and a Macintosh.

Always incorporating cutting-edge technology and creating innovative works, he is a pioneer in Japan, competing for the top spot. He also serves as the MC at live shows, gaining popularity for his comical and skillful speaking skills. In 1988, he even served as an FM radio personality, a skill that rivals that of an MC.
