YMO's BGM - Technodelic era featured many avant-garde styles, including an inclination towards Russian Constructivism, and wasn't very commercially successful. However, many fans consider this period their favorite, and the albums still enjoy strong popularity. "Technodelic" was from the early days of sampling, and it featured many real-world sounds; simulating factory noises and other such sounds was challenging. "Technodon" has a relatively "modern" sound, and KORG synthesizers were used extensively in the recording, making it relatively easy to find similar timbres. My favorites are "Light in Darkness" and "Prologue / Epilogue". Please also listen to the carefully crafted parts, such as the vocoder voice in "Music Plans" and the transceiver voice in "Seoul Music".
